The purpose of this tool is to display any information related to your use of the team structure import.

The file upload validation process begins upon successful upload of both the user and team files. This process checks that each file has the required fields and that there is no missing data.

Once the sync process begins, it will generate the operations necessary to import your team structure into Pluralsight. If the dry run URL parameter is set to false, it will apply the operations to your team structure within Pluralsight.

Troubleshooting

Request header validation errors

These errors prevent file validation and sync:

• Incorrect filename: Use 'teams' or 'users'. Invalid filenames will be rejected.
• Missing header value: Headers must include 'teams' or 'users'.
• Decryption error: If using PGP encryption, recheck the decryption process if you encounter this error.

File upload validation warnings

These warnings do not stop the sync process:

• Missing user definitions: Some managers in the teams file are not defined in the users file. The sync will continue but managers not defined will not be added. Ensure that all managers in the teams file have corresponding users in the users file.

• Missing headers: Required headers are 'id', 'email', 'first_name', 'last_name', 'team_id'. All users must have unique IDs and emails.
• Duplicate records: Duplicate IDs or emails are not allowed. Remove duplicates from the users file.
• Missing values: Ensure all required fields have values.
• Missing team definitions: Every team ID in the users file must have a corresponding team in the teams file.

If there are issues applying operations in Pluralsight, these will be listed as errors.

Operations that could be generated:
